Rising out of the waters 65 miles west of Key West, Florida is Dry Tortugas National Park. The intermixing of Atlantic, Gulf and Caribbean ecosystems here result in a on of a kind collection of marine fauna that is totally protected within the 100-square mile park bounty. Equally impressive is the collection of over 250 marine disasters that have resulted in the natural ship trap formed by the atoll-like configuration of the islands.
